BUILT FOR THE JOURNEY – DESIGNED FOR LIVING
Introducing the first ever BRABUS Masterpiece motorhome.
For more than four decades, BRABUS haven't been afraid to enter new territory and the BRABUS BIG BOY 1200 represents an entirely new chapter. Imposing in scale and unmistakably exclusive, it takes the BRABUS luxury experience beyond traditional boundaries and transforms almost any destination into home.
Named after one of the largest locomotives ever created, the BIG BOY 1200 was conceived as a luxury living space that travels with you. Designed to adapt to both its surroundings and the individual lifestyle of its owner, it combines freedom, comfort and craftsmanship on an extraordinary scale.
Wake up somewhere different every morning. Travel without compromising the comforts of home. The BRABUS BIG BOY 1200 makes it possible.
LUXURY BEYOND PLACES
Measuring an impressive 12 metres (39.4 ft) in length, the BRABUS BIG BOY 1200 offers more than 30 square metres (320 sq ft) of luxurious Masterpiece living space. Electrically operated slide outs on both sides expand the bedroom and saloon, increasing the interior width to an exceptional 4.50 metres (14.8 ft). Hydraulically extending supports automatically level the vehicle, providing a secure and stable position on virtually any surface. Access to the passenger compartment is made easier by an entrance on the right side of the saloon with electrically extending steps.
In the sleeping area, two additional extendable sections create generous space around the transverse 160 x 200 cm (63 x 79 in) double bed. A substantial wardrobe is integrated into the rear wall, while a dedicated desk and 43-inch 4K television are positioned opposite the bed. An identical television is installed in the saloon and both can be used for conventional entertainment or gaming through the integrated PlayStation 5. Starlink satellite internet provides connectivity even in remote destinations, allowing occupants to stream content, browse online or remain in contact with the outside world wherever the journey leads.
The main living area provides generous seating through two sofas upholstered in the finest BRABUS leather. Like the driver's seats and interior door panels, they feature precisely executed BRABUS “Triangle” quilting. Premium carpeting continues the refined atmosphere, while contrasting sections in fine wood and Alcantara add depth to the interior design. Strategically positioned carbon fibre trim introduces the unmistakable sporting character associated with BRABUS.
A fully equipped contemporary kitchen makes extended travel effortless. Equipment includes an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and large refrigerator with integrated freezer, complemented by a separate wine cooler and coffee machine. Opposite the kitchen, the sofa can be combined with designer chairs and a substantial dining table to create a comfortable dining space. The same area can easily be transformed into a practical workstation or fully functioning mobile office.
Positioned between the bedroom and main saloon is a luxurious bathroom finished in fine natural stone. It features a rainforest shower, WC and washbasin, bringing the comfort and quality of a premium residence into the motorhome.
An automatic air-conditioning system and dedicated parking heater maintain the desired interior temperature throughout the seasons. When stationary, the systems can operate from an external power connection, while eight roof-mounted solar panels and the integrated onboard energy storage system provide an independent source of power when travelling or staying away from conventional infrastructure.
The separate driver's compartment is accessed through two individual doors and features two supportive seats finished in BRABUS Masterpiece leather. Signature “Triangle” quilting and precision perforation continue the interior design language. Directly above the cockpit, an electrically lowering 160 cm (63 in) wide bed provides additional sleeping accommodation. Curtains allow both the windscreen area and the cockpit to be completely separated from the saloon for additional privacy.
From the outside, the BRABUS BIG BOY 1200 makes an equally commanding statement with its enormous proportions and unmistakable BRABUS design. An illuminated BRABUS logo is integrated into the exposed carbon fibre radiator grille, while the same high tech material is used for the side wind deflectors, fog light surrounds and bonnet release handles. LED technology is used throughout the lighting system, including the main headlights, auxiliary lights integrated into the BRABUS roof light bar and the rear lighting units.
Matching its impressive dimensions is an equally substantial powertrain. A 12.8-litre six-cylinder turbodiesel engine produces 390 kW / 530 hp together with a formidable 2,600 Nm (1,918 lb-ft) of torque. Maximum speed is electronically limited to 90 km/h (56 mph).
The heavy duty three-axle chassis, with two pairs of dual rear tyres on each side, has been engineered to deliver outstanding ride comfort together with confident, secure handling. To give the driver complete awareness of this exceptional vehicle and its surroundings, the BRABUS BIG BOY 1200 is also equipped with a comprehensive 360 degree camera monitoring system.
