The BRABUS P 900 ROCKET EDITION returns in an exclusive new generation, combining the versatility of a pickup with the performance and craftsmanship of a BRABUS Masterpiece supercar. Limited to just 10 units worldwide, it is based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 W 465 and powered by a 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 900 hp. Its distinctive design features exposed carbon-fibre WIDESTAR bodywork, signature red accents and 24-inch Monoblock II EVO wheels. Inside, a handcrafted BRABUS Masterpiece interior combines premium black leather, Alcantara and exclusive ROCKET RED detailing.
Design & Exterior
The BRABUS P 900 ROCKET EDITION features a specially engineered extension to the G-Class steel ladder frame, increasing the wheelbase by 50 centimetres (19.7 in.) while preserving torsional rigidity. A bespoke steel rear bulkhead with a heated rear window separates the four-door cabin from the cargo bed, which combines a metal floor and side-opening tailgate with prepreg carbon-fibre side panels. Soft-teak decking with red BRABUS lettering and two lockable, waterproof storage boxes complete the design.
The unmistakable BRABUS ROCKET EDITION WIDESTAR widebody features exposed carbon-fibre fender flares accommodating the largest wheels in the BRABUS range. Extended running boards and integrated entry lighting enhance functionality, while the distinctive front fascia incorporates large air intakes, LED position lights, an integrated spoiler and an illuminated carbon-fibre radiator grille surround with red accents and BRABUS emblem.
A signature BRABUS Powerdome completes the bonnet, while the rear features an exposed-carbon tailgate panel with illuminated red BRABUS lettering and a bespoke WIDESTAR rear fascia seamlessly integrated with the widened wheel arches.
Interior
The BRABUS P 900 ROCKET EDITION features an exclusive handcrafted BRABUS Masterpiece interior, combining exceptionally soft black leather and Alcantara with striking ROCKET RED accents. Signature BRABUS “Shell” quilting adorns the ventilated seats, door panels, leather-trimmed footwells and floor mats, complemented by red stitching, piping and Masterpiece emblems. Additional ROCKET RED detailing enhances the switches, trim panels, door handles, speaker grilles and air vents.
High-gloss carbon-fibre trim, pedal pads, grab handles and BRABUS paddle shifters reinforce the sporty character. Integrated LED shift indicators illuminate from green to yellow to red, while carbon-fibre entry panels feature illuminated BRABUS logos. Red-anodized door-lock pins add further distinctive accents.
Rear passengers benefit from BRABUS “Easy Entry” doors opening to 90 degrees and an Alcantara-integrated instrument console displaying vehicle speed, engine rpm, temperature, G-forces, time and date.
Each vehicle includes a customizable BRABUS Weekender travel bag, handcrafted using matching leather and quilting. Additionally, registration on the Aura Private Blockchain provides a unique Digital Product Passport, verifying ownership and authenticity through NFC technology integrated into the cargo bed.
Power & Sound
The BRABUS P 900 ROCKET EDITION is powered by a 4.5-liter BRABUS ROCKET 900 V8 biturbo engine producing 662 kW / 900 hp and 1,250 Nm of torque, electronically limited to 1,050 Nm to protect the drivetrain. Combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive, it accelerates from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds, reaching an electronically limited top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). A bespoke BRABUS speedometer is calibrated to 300 km/h (186 mph).
The engine’s displacement is increased from 3,982 cm³ to 4,407 cm³ through enlarged cylinder bores, forged pistons, a precision-balanced billet crankshaft and high-performance connecting rods. Two specially developed BRABUS turbochargers with reinforced bearings generate 1.4 bar of boost pressure, while BRABUS BoostXtra valves deliver a distinctive blow-off sound. Optimised engine management and MOTUL high-performance lubricants ensure exceptional performance.
A BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with electronically controlled valves allows the driver to switch between a powerful V8 soundtrack in Sport mode and a discreet tone in “Coming Home” mode. Four chrome side-exit tailpipes, framed by exposed carbon fiber with integrated red ROCKET Launch Ambience Lights, complete the unmistakable design.
Wheels & Chassis
The BRABUS P 900 ROCKET EDITION features 24-inch BRABUS Monoblock II EVO "PLATINUM EDITION" forged wheels, combining an iconic matte-black three-spoke design with exposed carbon-fiber aeroblades. The 10Jx24 front wheels are fitted with 295/30 ZR 24 tires, while the 12Jx24 rear wheels feature 345/25 ZR 24 tires. Special Ventus high-performance tires were developed by Hankook specifically for the BRABUS G-Class.
The BRABUS RideControl aluminum coilover suspension is precisely calibrated to the low-profile tires, vehicle weight and extended wheelbase. Lowering the pickup by approximately 45 millimetres (1.8 in.), it offers adjustable damping settings controlled through the cockpit’s Drive Select switch.
