BE BOLD. GO ANYWHERE.
The BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE returns as the ultimate go anywhere pickup, completely reengineered for a new generation. Based on the technological platform of the W 465 Mercedes-AMG G 63, this extraordinary off-roader combines the immense performance of an 800 hp twin-turbo V8 with a bespoke pickup conversion, specially developed portal axle chassis and an exclusive carbon fibre exterior concept.
Created for those who choose their own path, the XLP 800 ADVENTURE is equally at home crossing demanding terrain or navigating the urban landscape. From its unmistakable BRABUS “1-Second-Wow” presence to the craftsmanship of its extravagant BRABUS Masterpiece interior, every detail brings together uncompromising capability, exceptional performance and exclusive luxury.
Design & Exterior. RELOADED.
The “P” in XLP stands for pickup, and transforming the Mercedes-AMG G63 into this extraordinary all-terrain machine required extensive engineering. Using advanced CAD technology, BRABUS developed a bespoke body conversion combining steel and high-strength carbon fibre. A newly designed rear cabin panel with an integrated heated window closes the passenger compartment behind the rear seats, while the original luggage area is replaced by a purpose-built pickup bed with carbon fibre side panels.
The loading area is lined with durable Soft-Teak, a premium material also used aboard high-performance BRABUS Marine boats, combining practicality with unmistakable BRABUS craftsmanship.
To accommodate the pickup configuration, a specially engineered high-strength frame extension and extended driveshaft allow the rear axle to be repositioned. The wheelbase is increased by 50 centimetres (19.7 in), taking the overall vehicle length to more than five metres (16 ft). A distinctive double bar behind the cabin and robust BRABUS ADVENTURE roof rack further enhance its expedition-ready character, with an optional roof tent available for extended adventures.
At the front, the carbon fibre BRABUS apron incorporates a powerful winch capable of delivering 4,500 kilograms (9,921 lbs.) of pulling force. A carbon fibre radiator grille surround with illuminated BRABUS branding adds another unmistakable visual signature.
Additional carbon fibre elements include the BRABUS powerdome hood, mirror covers, side trim and the specially developed wind deflector mounted ahead of the roof rack. Three powerful integrated LED light panels illuminate the terrain ahead with exceptional intensity.
The increased ride height is complemented by electrically extending side steps, available in addition to the standard running boards, making access to the raised cabin considerably easier. Integrated LED lighting illuminates both the steps and surrounding ground when a door handle is operated or the vehicle detects the approaching Keyless-Go signal. Special BRABUS Easy-Entry hinges also allow the rear doors to open by up to 90 degrees.
At the rear, an exposed-structure carbon fibre apron integrates seamlessly with the widened BRABUS WIDESTAR fenders, while the tailgate features an exclusive carbon fibre panel with recessed BRABUS lettering.
Interior. EXTRAVAGANT.
As with every BRABUS Masterpiece created in Bottrop, Germany, the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE features an extensively handcrafted full leather interior. Every surface is finished with exceptional attention to detail, creating a cabin that combines exclusive luxury with the unmistakable character of this extreme all-terrain pickup.
The seat panels and central sections of the door panels feature precisely executed BRABUS “Diamond Double” quilting, complemented by pinpoint perforations that allow the integrated seat climate control system to operate efficiently. Additional interior areas, including sections of the headliner, feature embossed “77” signets, paying tribute to the founding of BRABUS in 1977.
A comprehensive selection of carbon fibre components provides the perfect balance between sporting character and refined craftsmanship. Carbon fibre is incorporated into the BRABUS pedal pads, steering wheel, dashboard trim, door panels and centre console, creating an unmistakable “1-Second-Wow” throughout the cabin.
All four doors feature carbon fibre entry panels incorporating illuminated BRABUS logos, synchronised with the vehicle's ambient lighting system. Cockpit controls, air vents, speaker grilles and selected trim components are finished in exclusive BRABUS “Shadow Chrome,” completing the distinctive interior atmosphere.
Built entirely to order, the BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE can be tailored to the owner's individual vision. From exterior details and materials to leather, stitching, trim and every element of the handcrafted BRABUS Masterpiece interior, virtually every aspect can be personalised to create a truly bespoke specification.
Power & Sound. OFF THE CHARTS.
The BRABUS XLP 800 ADVENTURE delivers performance to match its extraordinary appearance. At its heart is the BRABUS 800 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, producing an impressive 588 kW / 800 hp (788 bhp) at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque output of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) at just 3,600 rpm.
This immense performance makes the XLP 800 ADVENTURE one of the most powerful pickups in the world. Despite its extreme off-road construction, the all wheel drive BRABUS supercar accelerates from 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds. Gear changes can be handled automatically or manually using ergonomically shaped carbon fibre BRABUS paddle shifters positioned behind the steering wheel. Maximum speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h (130 mph).
Two specially developed BRABUS high-performance turbochargers feature enlarged compressor units and modified core assemblies with reinforced axial bearings, generating up to 1.6 bar of boost pressure. Extensive testing both on advanced test benches and on the road allowed BRABUS engineers to develop dedicated engine management calibrations and optimise electronic boost pressure control. These parameters are managed through the BRABUS PowerXtra auxiliary control unit, integrated with the factory engine electronics using plug and play technology.
A BRABUS stainless steel sports exhaust system further enhances both performance and character. Integrated active valve control provides electronically adjustable sound management, allowing the driver to select the discreet “Coming Home” setting or unleash the full V8 soundtrack at the touch of a button.
Four angled side-exit tailpipes, two on each side, provide an unmistakable visual signature. Each pair is framed by exposed-structure carbon fibre surrounds incorporating Rocket Launch ambient lighting, which illuminates when the vehicle's interior lighting is activated.
Wheels & Suspension. PURPOSE-BUILT.
The unique pickup conversion is complemented by an equally specialised BRABUS suspension system, engineered specifically to withstand demanding off-road use. At its foundation is a purpose-developed portal axle system, using precision CNC machined intermediate gears at each wheel to dramatically increase ground clearance.
This engineering provides an extraordinary 47 centimetres (18.5 in) of ground clearance, significantly improving approach, departure and ramp angles while increasing maximum wading depth to 91.6 centimetres (36 in).
Beyond its additional height, the BRABUS portal axle configuration also provides considerably greater axle articulation, offering a major advantage across uneven and technically demanding terrain. The system works alongside BRABUS Ride Control coilover suspension, which offers adjustable ride height and damping.
Titanium coated aluminium suspension struts can be electronically configured using the standard suspension controls within the cockpit. Depending on the selected setup, the driver can adapt not only the suspension damping but also the drivetrain, steering and assistance systems to suit changing terrain and operating conditions.
The XLP 800 ADVENTURE is equipped with specially developed BRABUS Monoblock HD 9.5Jx22 wheels, engineered for maximum durability. Manufactured using advanced forging and machining technology, the wheels feature an eight-hole mounting system specifically adapted to the BRABUS portal axles.
They sit within the enlarged wheel arches of the BRABUS WIDESTAR bodywork, giving the pickup an imposing overall width of 210 centimetres (82.7 in). Substantial 325/55 R 22 all-terrain tyres provide the traction and versatility required for demanding off-road conditions while remaining equally capable during everyday road use.
